Refinery Process Chemicals
Antifoam SR SD100
A silicone-based antifoam for refinery service, used where foaming limits throughput or causes carry-over, such as amine units, delayed cokers and crude distillation. Small dosages control foam without affecting downstream product quality.
COROL 7030 Anti-Fouling Agent
An anti-fouling liquid that keeps sludge and deposits from building up in exchangers, pipelines and process equipment. It is also used as a sludge and pipeline cleaner to restore flow and heat transfer during maintenance.
Furfural
A selective solvent used in lube oil refining to extract aromatic compounds, improving the viscosity index and oxidation stability of base oils. Furfural is also used as a chemical intermediate.
Perchloroethylene
Tetrachloroethylene used as a chloriding agent to maintain catalyst activity in catalytic reforming and isomerization units, and as a general industrial solvent.
Fuel Additives and Blending Components
N-Methylaniline (NMA)
N-Methylaniline, also known as monomethylaniline (MMA), is used to raise the octane number of gasoline. Corofy supplies NMA to approved fuel blenders with the compliance documentation its use requires.
Gas Treating and Sulphur Removal
For refinery gas and LPG treating, Corofy also supplies amines such as Monoethanolamine (MEA) for acid gas removal, H2S scavengers, and Triethylene Glycol (TEG) for gas dehydration. These are listed in full on our Oil and Gas page.
