An SC is a suspension of a solid, water-insoluble active ingredient milled to a fine particle size in water. Without a dispersant, the particles tend to clump together (flocculate) and settle, which leads to hard sediment and uneven dosing. A dispersing agent adsorbs onto the particle surfaces and keeps them apart.
MAPOL MQ 1791 is a proprietary blend designed for this job. It supports dispersion during milling, helps keep the suspension homogeneous in storage, and helps the concentrate disperse again when it is diluted in the spray tank.
