COMOL DN Overview
Naphthalene sulfonate condensates are among the most established dispersants for agrochemical powders. Their anionic sulfonate groups adsorb on particle surfaces and give them a negative charge, so the particles repel each other instead of clumping. This keeps a wettable powder in suspension for longer after it has been mixed with water.
COMOL DN is Corofy's dual-function SNF grade. Where COMOL SF is chosen mainly for fast wetting, COMOL DN is chosen when the formulator also needs good dispersion and suspension stability from the same additive. It can also be used together with a lignosulfonate such as COMOL SLS or a dedicated dispersant such as COROPERSE W95.
