Solvent Naphtha 100 Overview
SN100 is a refinery stream made up mainly of C9 aromatic hydrocarbons such as trimethylbenzenes and ethyltoluenes. It dissolves resins, oils and many active ingredients well, and evaporates more slowly than xylene but faster than heavier aromatic grades.
Compared with Solvent Naphtha 150, SN100 is lighter and quicker to evaporate. It is chosen where a product needs to dry or flash off in a reasonable time, while SN150 is preferred for higher flash point and slower evaporation.
