COROLUBE PPD is a pour point depressant and cold-flow improver based on polymethacrylate (PMA) chemistry. Blenders looking for a pour point depressant supplier in UAE use it to keep oils fluid when temperatures drop.
Corofy supplies COROLUBE PPD from Dubai to lubricant blenders, oil and gas companies and fuel handlers in the UAE, the GCC and export markets. It is part of our wider range of oil & gas chemicals.
COROLUBE PPD Overview
As petroleum oils cool, wax molecules begin to crystallise and link into a network that stops the oil from flowing. The temperature at which this happens is the pour point.
COROLUBE PPD is built on PMA polymers that interact with forming wax crystals and change how they grow, keeping them small and preventing the network from forming. The result is a lower pour point and better flow at low temperatures. It is a proprietary formulation, so its composition is not published; your treat rate should be confirmed by testing in the oil you are treating.

Applications of COROLUBE PPD
COROLUBE PPD is used wherever wax crystallisation limits oil flow in cold conditions.
Lubricant Blending
- Lowers the pour point of mineral base oils and finished lubricants.
- Helps engine, gear and hydraulic oils flow at start-up in cold weather.
Oils in Cold Service
- Improves low-temperature fluidity of petroleum oils in storage and handling.
- Helps reduce pumping difficulties caused by wax build-up.
Pour point depressants are effective at low treat rates, but the response depends heavily on the base oil. Oils from different crudes and refining routes contain different waxes, so a PPD that works well in one base oil may need a different treat rate in another. That is why Corofy recommends confirming performance by pour point testing in your own blend before full-scale use.
Why Choose Corofy for COROLUBE PPD
Corofy supports blenders with a consistent PPD supply and help on getting the treat rate right.
- Consistent additive quality under ISO 9001:2015 controls
- Drum stock in the Jebel Ali Free Zone
- Technical support for treat-rate evaluation in your base oils
- Export documents for GCC, African and Asian customers
Handling, Storage & Safety
Handle COROLUBE PPD according to its Safety Data Sheet. Avoid prolonged skin contact, use gloves and eye protection, and keep drums tightly closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight, and protect from contamination by water.
